When something goes wrong, the time to figure out what to do is not in the moment. STL maintains documented emergency response plans reviewed at every pre-job meeting — so every person on every job knows their role before work starts.
Our emergency response plans cover vehicle incidents, spills, medical emergencies, and remote-site evacuation procedures. Each Journey Management Plan includes site-specific emergency contacts, nearest medical facilities, and a communication protocol for overdue or incommunicado drivers.
Drivers operating in remote or oilfield locations carry the emergency contact information specific to that site and route. Dispatch maintains an active overdue-driver protocol — if a scheduled check-in is missed, escalation begins immediately, not after hours of uncertainty.
