Our policy manual covers fatigue management, drug and alcohol fitness for duty, mandatory PPE by job type, vehicle pre-trip standards, and Journey Management Plan requirements for every dispatch. These aren't suggestions — they're conditions of employment and contractor engagement at STL.
Policies are reviewed annually and updated whenever regulatory requirements change — NSC standards, TDG regulations, provincial transportation rules. Every driver receives the current policy manual at onboarding and signs an acknowledgment. Updates are communicated directly, not buried in an email no one reads.
